You are sitting on a chair at the entrance of your house, you are putting on your shoes, and you feel this throbbing little thing that beats inside you. It’s time to adjust your watch … You get up!
You’re on your way, you have left the comfort of your house, little stride, rhythmic movements, 1 step, 2 steps, then one foot in front of the other, this small incessant and heady pace that takes you on board, and takes you into a flow of well-being. Your thoughts run at full speed, and step by step, everything calms down, your pure emotions take over, you feel free, without judgment, simply alone with yourself, in the purest of positive emotions existing.
After traveling 1km for beginners running or trail running, 42km for a marathon, or 150 or 180km for the Ultra-Trails, we arrive at our destination, this last step, this last effort, these last strides that we tend to accelerate as adrenaline pushes us to this last momentum.
Who cares about the destination, wherever it starts and wherever it ends, it will be beautiful, and in this state of “flow” the journey was simply fascinating, mind-boggling, luminous and it radiated with all its inner beauty.
