Olivier Borgognon is a freelance photographer based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
The purpose of the business is to deliver creative, video, photographic, design services, website creation and educational workshops in Switzerland and throughout the world.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
Your Data is not shared with any third party or other company. Olivier Borgognon is a photographer based in Switzerland, and the olivierborgognon.com website uses your information to communicate about photography services and workshops to all his clients, as the experience has proven that many clients using a photographer are themselves fondly interested in the medium. The data collected will therefore serve to keep track of who you are (name & firstname & adress), how to contact you if you have asked me a question (phone or email), and for my photography mailing-list (email).
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We keep up to date with all the latest updates of the plugins in place, and our service provider (Hostpoint A.G.) provides the firewall, and security related to the hosting and the database located on their servers in Switzerland.

Data being stored on the server of Hostpoint A.G. the data breaches are part of their procedures.
What third parties we receive data from
We do not receive any data from other sources or third parties. No databases have been used or are purchased. The data from major plugin companies such as Youtube, mailpoet, or other corporations is not shared with us as stated above in the section about third party data storage.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
The data from the contact form is used to fill my Studio Ninja software which i use for lead & client management. Based on which type of work you would like us to do for you, a specific workflow for business is put in place (i.e. how I get my best work done for you, The automated decisions are to send you a follow-up email to a request and to remind me that I have to do certain tasks for you, such as make an album, deliver prints etc.)
